Postpartum Integration Circle

There is so much preparation for new parents, so much ceremony and anticipation during pregnancy for the journey of labor and the introduction of a newborn into the world. And yet, little space is created for the return after the journey of labor and birth, for the new parent. This circle is a welcome home. A space to explore the threshold crossing of labor and birth, a space to slow down and spend time reflecting on that crossing – what are parts of yourself that you let go of in the journey, parts of yourself that were surrendered in the deep work of bringing a human into the world; and what are parts of yourself that you discovered in that deep place that you are bringing back with you, that you are incorporating into yourself, your identity, your role as parent, and your place in your community. It is a space to be witnessed in your claiming, to be held in your storytelling, to have your journey and your Self mirrored back to you as you are now, on the other side of this threshold crossing, as you walk forward into your life.
